Leadership Development
International (LDI) represents a new vision for leadership development
based on more than twenty years of experience in training and
developing church leaders in Eastern Honduras. One of
the key goals of LDI is to propagate the training methodology
which has been so effective over the years in planting churches
through the Escuela Biblica Honduras (EBH) program. As
a result of the work of EBH over the years, more than 40 congregations
have been planted throughout Eastern Honduras, and countless
Christians from the States have been introduced to the work
in Honduras.

As the EBH program matured, the leadership
of that training program has been assumed entirely by Honduran
nationals, with the stateside based EBH Board of Directors taking
on a much more advisory role. Accordingly, it was determined
that the best role for the stateside members of the Board was
to focus on the role of financial support and propagation of
the program. It was with this changing emphasis in roles
that the decision was made in 2005 to change the name of the
EBH organization in the US to Leadership Development International.
LDI is excited about its new vision of a broader base and a
greater impact for the work of the kingdom, not only in Honduras
but throughout Latin America.
